About Us

Welcome to Hogtech Wireless Trapping Systems

Our goal is to provide you with an affordable option to trapping hogs on a large scale using modern wireless technology. In our goal of trying to provide an affordable way for you to trap hogs, we break down our system into multiple options. You only need to buy those components that you feel you need to start trapping on a large scale. We want this to be a cost effective option for you. Old fashioned traps often catch only a few hogs and require that you check them every day. With our traps YOU decide when you want to trigger the trap, not the hogs. Whether you are simply trying to eradicate nuisance hogs or selling them for profit, this system is extremely efficient.

How it works

Our system is designed to be used with any of the current wireless trail cameras on the market. You do not need a subscription service through us nor do we provide any. Just as the wireless trail cameras use SIM card/GSM technology for transmitting pictures to your phone or computer, our gate controller uses the same technology. You determine what plan you want to use from your provider, insert the SIM card and you are ready to go. You monitor the trap with your wireless trail camera and when you see the hogs you want to trap you simply call the trap and the gate closes. Our current record for trapped hogs is 26 at one time!!

About Us

As avid outdoorsman we have developed an understanding of the destructive nature of feral hogs. Feral hogs compete directly with livestock as well as game and nongame wildlife species for food. However, the main damage caused to livestock and wildlife is indirect destruction of habitat and agriculture commodities. Rooting and trampling activity for food can damage agricultural crops, fields, and livestock feeding and watering facilities. Through our teams combined knowledge and background of fabrication, wildlife biology, computer science and telecommunications we have designed a product that is capable of aiding the farmer, rancher and outdoorsman in their quest to control feral hog populations.
